Emmanuel Baptist Church West – Burlington is a latin church plant in the Halton region that exists to glorify God through worship, biblical evangelism and discipleship.
As an evangelical community, we are passionate about the proclamation of a gospel for all aspects of life, the growth of the church, and the faithful witness through relational and cultural engagement.
Our Mission
Proclaim the gospel in the Spanish language to the entire city and its surroundings, teaching new converts to serve Christ with all their soul, making disciples, living in integrity, service and brotherly love.
Our vision (pesca)
(Proclamation). Be witnesses of the redemptive work of God in our community.
(Education). Grow in the knowledge of God by making disciples.
(Service) Serve others without exception.
(Communion) Practice communion inside and outside the Church, with believers and non-believers.
(Adoration) Worship God with understanding and with all our being.
What do we believe?
SOLA GRATIA:
Salvation is a gift from God. Therefore, it is something that the sinner receives undeservedly, based solely on the merits of Christ achieved during His life, death and resurrection. – (Ephesians 2:8)
SOLA FIDE:
Salvation can only be received when we put our faith in the One who died for us, excluding the possibility that our works could contribute to it. (Ephesians 2: 8-9, Romans 3:28).
SOLUS CHRISTUS:
Salvation is found only in Christ, so any other way of reaching God is excluded. – (Acts 4:12).
SOLA SCRIPTURA:
The Word of God is the ultimate authority in matters of faith and practice. Therefore, anything that contradicts God’s revelation can regulate the life of the believer. (Gal 1:6-10; 2 Tim 3:16; 2 Pet 1:3).
SOLI DEO GLORIA:
The purpose of the salvation we have received is to glorify God; To highlight the excellences or virtues of His Character. (Ephesians 1: 4-6; 1 Pet 2: 9).
